One night between them and freedom …

After their bank robbery turns into a bloody shootout, the brothers Seth and Richie Gecko are on the run. On their way to Mexico, where they’ve been promised asylum by the underworld boss Carlos, they leave a trail of destruction in their wake. Richie, a psychopathic sex offender who was only recently freed from prison by his brother, brutally murders innocent passersby as well as their kidnapped hostage.

As the FBI, the police, and the Texas Rangers are hot on their heels they desperately need new hostages, which are quickly taken: A priest, doubting his faith after the death of his wife and his two young children. Their motorhome is a welcome addition as it offers an elegant way to cross the border undetected.

Since the meeting with Carlos is planned for the next morning, they decide to spend the night inside a table dance bar called the “Titty Twister” – which turns out to be a very bad idea …

“From Dusk Till Dawn” is a rollercoaster ride of thrills and laughs that throws in everything from bits of “Pulp Fiction” and the Indiana Jones series to all those grade Z zombie/vampire thrillers. (Jerry at the Movies)

This is one of those movies you might like or you might hate, but you won't be able to deny its crazy zeal.[…] “From Dusk Till Dawn” is a skillful meat-and-potatoes action extravaganza with some added neat touches. (Roger Ebert)
