In 1945 the Nazis went to the moon. In 2018 they are coming back.

In the last few moments of World War II, a secret Nazi operation escaped from the Earth and went into hiding on the dark side of the moon. For the last 70 years, they lived peacefully and undiscovered, constructing a huge armada of spacecraft, aiming to return to Earth one day to deliver peace and enforce their way of living.

When Washington, an American astronaut, lands his space capsule near the Nazi space fortress, he is regarded as a spy of the hostile earthlings. The “Führer” decides that their time to go back to Earth has come. The Fourth Reich must act! He sends the Nazi officers Klaus Adler and Renate Richter to Earth to prepare the invasion.

In the end, when the skies are darkened by the Nazi-UFO-armada, ready to attack the unprepared Earth, everyone has to reconsider their beliefs and find out where their priorities truly lie …

An absurd but hilarious tale with many genuinely first-rate jokes, a truly awesome score by Laibach, an otherwise great selection of songs, likable characters and a surprisingly but effectively sad and unsettling ending. (alienationmentale.wordpress.com)

Let’s make Earth great again!

When the Earth was destroyed in a nuclear war, only a few survivors were able to escape to the former Nazi base on the dark side of the moon. But the base will soon be insufficient to sustain the lives of the people living there. Hence the only solution is going back to Earth.

Obi Washington, daughter of James Washington and Renate Richter, finds out that members of the Vril, a race of reptilian shape shifters, have been living among them. They came to Earth during the age of the dinosaurs and played a significant role in the ascent of man, but have since fled to the center of the Earth, where a huge city is said to exist and some kind of holy grail providing them with infinite energy.

This energy source might be mankind’s last hope. But during their search for the secret city, Obi and her companions encounter unexpected obstacles and enemies that were long presumed dead.

There’s something so refreshing, so pure, about the Iron Sky series in what it attempts, that audiences can’t help but get swept up in its wake. (elementsofmadness.com)
