7. Mai 2020: Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (OV)

After the happenings of “Suicide Squad”, Harley Quinn mostly enjoys her life as Joker’s girlfriend with all the benefits she gets from being at the side of her “puddin”. But a bit more appreciation for her work from time to time would be nice.

When the Joker breaks up with her – this time for good – her whole life shatters. Well, as much as there is to shatter. First she denies it, but when the truth kicks in she is out for revenge – which is found quite fast and effectively! Her not very thoroughly thought-out action tells the whole of Gotham that Harley and the Joker broke up. And since nobody is left to protect her, she is now on the run. But maybe a quick stop to get a wonderful tasty and delicous sandwich would be alright?

With her chaotic and optimistic way she maneuvers through situations, meets other girls and women suppressed by men and suddenly has to find a diamond.

The whole story is of course told by herself in a very “orderly” manner.
