Is all that we see or seem but a dream within a dream?
What if dreams could be controlled by the human mind, through a puppet master who can walk around the dreams of other people and bend them to his will. Meet Cobb: He can break into peoples dreams and steal the secrets they are hiding within their subconsciousness. He is an extractor, an architect of dreams, and he is the best in the business. But he has one little problem. He has been into the dreamworlds too often and the death of his wife, Mal, is weighing on his mind. Their new employer wants them to perform Inception, plant an idea in somebody’s subconsciousness, the opposite of what they had been doing before. The heir of the Fisher business empire has to be convinced to split up his inheritance. For their biggest job jet they need another architect, and thus they recruit Ariadne. She is an architect of impressive talent and she will build them the levels of the dream. On a long distance flight they get to work. Within minutes into the first level it becomes apparent that not all is as expected: Fisher has been trained to defend his mind and Mal is hell bound to destroy everything Cobb is. After many trials they make it and wake up, or do they? Is it all but a dream within a dream?
A classic-in-waiting that will keep you guessing and thinking while you pick your jaw up off the floor. (The Standard)
