Some time has passed since the events of John Wick: Chapter 3: Parabellum. John Wick has fully recovered from the siege on the New York Continental Hotel.
He then commits a certain act against the assassin's organization and this leads the High Table to assign the Marquis de Gramont to lead a manhunt against John Wick as well as anyone who has helped Baba Yaga in the past. After making a pit stop in New York.

John travels around Osaka, Berlin, and finally, Paris. Every stop has him fighting for his life as he is trying to flee from the High Table.
